R8 FIH site stability analysis completed revealing Korean centers achieve 92-98% stability rates

Round 8 site stability analysis successfully completed after abandoning background task execution in favor of direct Python script invocation. The r8_v2.py script retrieved FIH trial counts, stability metrics from v_site_q4_stability view, and startup lag from v_site_q1_startup_lag view, then performed in-memory joins using lowercase name matching. Results expose critical quality differentials among high-volume FIH sites. Korean medical centers demonstrate exceptional enrollment consistency: Samsung Medical Center leads at 98.5% stability across 67 resolved trials, Seoul National University at 93.9% (77 resolved), and Asan Medical Center at 92.1% (70 resolved). This consistency persists despite moderate startup speeds (265-391 days). The “Research Site” entry achieves perfect 100% stability but with low sample size (7 resolved trials). MD Anderson emerges as the optimal BD partner combining volume leadership (36 total FIH), operational speed (187-day lag), and reliable stability (81.0% across 128 resolved trials). City of Hope’s 75.9% stability raises concerns despite its #3 ranking in bispecific FIH count. The elite site analysis identifies 10 sites meeting triple criteria (volume + speed + reliability), with Korean centers occupying 3 of top 4 positions. European and Asian sites show data gaps due to AACT’s incomplete trial status tracking outside the US, explaining missing metrics for VHIO and NCC Tokyo despite high FIH counts from R6.
